"Grenfell: Our Home"
‘Grenfell: Our Home’ is a virtual reality documentary of 15 minutes in duration.
The documentary has been commissioned by Channel 4 and tells the story of people’s lives, their homes and the community that existed in the tower before the fire. Combining powerful interviews with beautiful animation, the documentary allows viewers to visualise survivors’ memories of life in the tower before the fire. There will be three days of screenings between the 28th and 30th June 2018, to provide an opportunity for people in the local community to experience the film on a virtual reality headset in advance of general release on 3rd July 2018. A trailer is available to watch on Channel 4.

Guests are invited to book timeslots for their preferred time and venue using Eventbrite to ensure availability. We endeavour to prioritise the local community. Should you encounter any difficulties in booking a slot, feel free to email us directly on email@example.com. There are a maximum of 4 viewings at a time taking place at 30-minute intervals Please ensure you arrive 5 minutes before the start of your allotted time to avoid disappointment Tea, coffee and refreshments will be complimentary Important information: No graphic or disturbing images are shown in the film. However, interviews with survivors about the night of the fire are included in the documentary. ‘Grenfell: Our Home’ is moving and some viewers may find watching it an emotional experience. Watching virtual reality content in headsets can cause nausea in some people - if you feel unwell while using a headset you are advised to remove it and please do let a member of staff know. Suitable only for 16 years old and over.
