Group Singing Practice Workshop
Mondays 6 - 8pm
These 2 hour weekly sessions are where adult learners have an opportunity to come together on a regular basis and work on building song repertoire, singing mostly contemporary songs styles. These sessions will start with breathing and vocal warm up exercises followed by harmony work then incorporating these skills through working on popular songs, which will be built upon over the weeks. There will be opportunities for those that are more confident to sing lead vocals. Additional benefits are to socialise and meet other people with similar interests.
Kids Singing Workshop
Mondays 5 - 6pm
These weekly session give kids the chance to explore and control their singing voice, develop their skills and abilities, and at the same time helping to bring out their natural creativity to develop their confidence to perform.
The kids are introduced to some basic techniques to develop, strengthen and control their voice, and help build an awareness of the discipline involved with singing, yet at the same time keeping these exercises fun and enjoyable. They learn songs from contemporary music styles, which they then perform as a group. The additional benefits are learning to work as part of a team.
